As most people who visit Thailand I fell in love with the country and it's people from the moment I left DonMuang airport. I have been traveling Thailand for three years now and I am happy to say that I am finally moving to Thailand for good. General information:

55 million people, from who estimated 3 million are relatives of immigrants from Burma, Laos, Cambodia. Over 90% of all the Thai are Buddhist. It's religion as well it's philosophical aspects are still grounded deep in the  modern Thai society.

'Mai pen rai' (no worry's) is what the average attitude of the Thai people describes. Such a relaxed attitude finds it's roots in the early history of the country witch is never (unlike the other southeast Asian country's) been in the hands of an European country and so there's know bad feelings towards foreigners. Thai people are proud of there history and there constitutional monarchy so never insult or make a bad remark on that in public. 

Thai people love the good things in life. This expresses itself in the Thai kitchen witch can compete with the French and Chinese. The Thai kitchen is a variety of spicy, sweet, hot and sour. These tasteful  contrasts are never boring. Ingredients as Shrimps, Chicken, coconut, pineapple and a variety of spices will make sure that you will be surprised again and again. More info
